The power-oriented profile of the Gen 5 MPP foam core makes it a better fit for players with consistent mechanics. See if that's you.
For players new to pickleball whose mechanics aren't yet consistent, or those sensitive to vibration and looking to reduce wrist fatigue, we recommend looking at the EPP line (Hongtianlei / Chidao): it offers better forgiveness and lower vibration—upgrade to the MPP line once your mechanics are dialed in.
Three common issues with intermediate paddles on the market—every single one can ruin your playing experience. Gen 5 MPP foam core solves these problems from the ground up.
Hitting attacking shots with a soft beginner paddle always lacks that final punch in energy transfer; try to add more power, and your shots only spray further.
With a paddle that offers muddy feedback, after hitting a shot you only know whether it landed in or out, not whether you hit the sweet spot—leaving you with no reference point to adjust your mechanics.
It feels fine when brand new, but after a few months the core collapses, elasticity is gone, and the feel completely degrades. It looks inexpensive upfront, but actually costs you more.
Microcellular foaming process filling the entire face: more direct power transfer, crisper ball-strike feedback, and a more durable core. No confusing marketing jargon—just letting you know exactly how you hit on every single shot.
No confusing technical jargon—only the tangible differences you can truly feel once you step onto the court.
Powerful pop when hitting the sweet spot, solid drives, and attacking shots with more commanding punch.
Clearly sense the impact point the moment the ball touches the paddle—what a clean hit feels like, where an off-center hit went wrong, all transmitted clearly to your hand. That's how advancing players level up their game.
Steady in rallies, smooth in power generation, balanced feel for both control and attack—the perfect partner for an all-around playstyle.
The high-density foam core withstands high-frequency impacts; with normal use and proper maintenance, it helps maintain a consistent feel.

| Comparison Dimensions | EPP Line (Hongtianlei / Chidao) | MPP Line (Bianhua / Cike · This page) | Honeycomb Core (Industry Common Knowledge) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Forgiveness & Sweet Spot | When hitting near the edge or off the sweet spot, the ball is less prone to severe deviation, resulting in fewer errors | Powerful ball exit when hitting the sweet spot; off-center hits amplify vibration, make returns harder to control, and demand more precise swing mechanics | The honeycomb grid disperses impact over a larger area; feedback when hitting off-center or near the edge follows a different path from EPP/MPP. Whether the specific landing spot is stable or floaty depends on the paddle surface and panel thickness. (Structural characteristics, not a benchmark comparison with this paddle) |
| Shock Absorption & Wrist Protection | The particle cushioning structure dampens hitting vibrations, resulting in less wrist and elbow soreness during long playing sessions | High rebound stiffness transmits hard impact feedback directly to the arm, making soreness and fatigue more likely during prolonged rallies. | A hollow honeycomb layer combined with carbon fiber facing creates a different vibration transmission path than foam cores; whether it feels softer or stiffer depends on the facing and adhesive layers. (Structural characteristics, not a benchmark comparison with this paddle) |
| Feel & Control | Strong ball-cushioning feel with longer dwell time; soft touch on dinks, drops, and resets, ideal for delicate kitchen play and defensive rallies | Instant ball separation with direct feedback, allowing clear awareness of impact location; ideal for aggressive, offensive playstyles | Crisp ball release with short dwell time; direct directional feel for placement, with the forgiveness window concentrated primarily around the sweet spot. (Structural characteristics, not a benchmark comparison with this paddle) |

This paddle is better suited for players who already have a certain foundation and relatively consistent form—the MPP foam core delivers powerful pop and direct feedback when hitting the sweet spot, helping you fine-tune your technique during your improvement phase; however, its forgiveness on off-center hits is not as high as the EPP line, making returns easier to lose control. For beginners or players with sensitive wrists, it is recommended to check out the EPP line (Hongtianlei / Chidao) first, and upgrade once your form stabilizes.
The 5th-generation MPP foam core uses a high-density foaming process with excellent compression resistance, and its rebound performance can be maintained for a long time under normal use. Every paddle has a lifespan; avoiding exposure to direct sunlight and heavy pressure during daily use will help extend its service life.
Pickleball itself is suitable for people of all ages and genders. With a paddle weight of approximately 225g, it falls into the medium-lightweight all-around offensive and defensive spec, which most adult female players can easily handle. If you are concerned about weight, you can wrap a few extra layers of overgrip to adjust the balance point, subject to your actual feel. The purple-pink gradient colorway of Bianhua is also very popular.
The set includes 6 pickleballs; please consult customer service to confirm specific ball specifications (number of holes, etc.), subject to actual shipment.
Both belong to the 5th-generation MPP foam core series and share the same core technology. The main differences lie in appearance design and positioning: Bianhua takes an all-around route with a purple-pink gradient, balancing control and attack; Cike takes a minimalist black-and-white speed-attack route, ideal for players who proactively attack and pursue a sense of speed. Specific feel is subject to the physical paddle, or you may consult customer service.
Both are foam cores, but with different orientations: EPP keeps the ball on track on off-center hits, produces less vibration, and provides a soft ball-pocketing feel, leaning toward beginners and defensive control; MPP delivers powerful pop and direct feedback when hitting the sweet spot, favoring players with foundational skills and an offensive playstyle. See the comparison module above for details.
The paddle comes from the factory with a base grip, and the included sweat-absorbent overgrip can be wrapped and replaced by yourself; whenever it gets worn or dirty after some use, replace it with a fresh one anytime.
No need to keep settling for entry-level paddles—powerful pop and direct feedback, every shot on the court will tell you it's worth every penny.
